Project Manager for Regional Development Project

Responsibilities

As a project manager, you have primary responsibility for the administrative part of the project's implementation. The assignment involves creating structure and ensuring that the project follows the project plan, budget, and the external funder's regulations, in close collaboration with the project's other functions locally and with other project partners.

Plan and follow up on the project's administrative implementation
Be responsible for the timeline, budget follow-up, and financial reporting
Ensure correct documentation and reporting according to the external funder's requirements
Prepare administrative materials, summaries, and reports
Coordinate the project's documentation, follow-up, and internal reporting
Work closely with the project's other functions to support the implementation of the project's activities
Collaborate with project staff, economists, contracted resources, and other support functions
Contribute to the project's follow-up, evaluation, and closure

Qualifications

Relevant higher education or university degree, or other education/experience deemed equivalent by the employer
Documented experience in project management or qualified project administration
Experience with projects with external funding, such as government funds or EU funds
Good ability to work in a structured, independent, and systematic manner
Experience in budget follow-up, reporting, and administrative processes
Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Preferred experience includes:

Work in municipal or other public operations
Education, skills supply, or development projects
Collaboration in projects with several parallel functions and actors

More about the position

Temporary project employment until 2028-12-31. Scope: 50-75%. Start as soon as possible by agreement.
