Job Responsibilities

Your role as a camp leader at Utepedagogik's campgrounds is to be responsible for children aged 9-13 or 13-16 years, as well as to plan and lead activities for this participant group. Camp involves around-the-clock activities for the youth and us leaders. As a leader, you will live and work at the campground together with the children and youth, so you need to be comfortable being away from home for at least 6 weeks.

Experience

You who are applying should have a great interest in guiding children and youth, as well as working outdoors since most of our activities are conducted outside. Experience in setting boundaries and building relationships with children aged 9-16 is important. We believe that those who have experience with elementary school students have a good foundation to succeed in your role as a camp leader. Activities we do include hiking, building rafts, climbing, swimming, and cooking outdoors. We will also have artistic activities such as theater, dance, and singing. Disco, football tournaments, and themed days are also on the schedule.

Utepedagogik Sverige AB runs camp activities at several different campgrounds around Sweden for children and youth aged 9-16, focusing on adventure and our activities are centered on outdoor education. Employment Conditions

The position is a full-time job. You must be able to attend our training days on-site at the campground in Värmland from April 30 to May 3, and June 6-11. During the summer, you need to be able to work and thus be away from home for at least six weeks during the period from June 12 to August 16.
