We are looking for an English-speaking personal assistant for our child client in Solna. We are seeking someone who is flexible and can work as needed. The client has extensive care needs, is tube-fed around the clock, and is sensitive to infections. As a personal assistant in this role, you must be experienced in working with small children and be confident in your role and tasks.

Examples of tasks include:

• Personal care, hygiene, transfers, etc.
• Tube feeding
• Accompanying the client and parents to healthcare appointments.
• Inhalations and medication
• Initiating play and interaction

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• It is advantageous to have some form of healthcare education such as nursing assistant or caregiver training.
• You should have experience working with children and tube feeding.
• It is advantageous if you have worked with individuals with mucus problems and have used equipment for this, such as a cough machine.
• It is a requirement to have good knowledge of English; it is advantageous if you also have good knowledge of Spanish.

To be suitable as a personal assistant for this client, you should be calm, attentive, and have good cooperation skills. You must have understanding and be empathetic and responsive to the client and their family. You should work based on our guiding principles - respect, commitment, and curiosity.
