Description
Are you passionate about strengthening safety, security, and legal certainty for individuals affected by domestic violence? Do you want to combine case management with a development responsibility where you drive the work forward on both a strategic and practical level? Then this could be the role for you.
We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable Case Officer for Domestic Violence, who will both manage cases and have an extended assignment to further develop, coordinate, and ensure the quality of the municipality's work in this area. In this role, you will work both operationally, managing cases, and strategically, by developing guidelines, working methods, and collaboration forms within the area of domestic violence.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities include, among other things:
Case Management (Operational Work)
- Investigating, assessing, and supporting decisions regarding interventions under SoL for adult victims of violence and individuals who perpetrate violence
- Conducting risk assessments and safety planning
- Conversations with clients as well as collaboration with police, health care, non-profit organizations, and other authorities
- Close cooperation with adult case officers and the Prevention Unit
- Documentation and follow-up of interventions according to applicable legislation and guidelines
Development, Coordination, and Quality Assurance (Strategic Work)
- Driving and coordinating the municipality's work on domestic violence
- Developing routines, action plans, and implementing new working methods
- Responsible for quality follow-up and ensuring legally sound and knowledge-based case management
- Planning and conducting internal training and information initiatives
- Participating in and developing collaboration both internally and externally
- Monitoring developments in the field of domestic violence, including legislation and research
The role involves significant responsibility, but also great opportunities to influence and shape the municipality's long-term work in this area.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in social work or another relevant higher education
- Experience in public authority work within social services
- Very good knowledge of domestic violence, children who witness violence, support measures, and relevant laws
- Experience in development work, coordination, or quality assurance is highly meritorious
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
