Job Responsibilities
We are now seeking an interim unit manager for an organization responsible for the development, management, and planning of sports-related properties and areas. The assignment includes work from early urban development stages to the completion of facilities, as well as ongoing local supply and environmental monitoring related to urban development. The organization works long-term and strategically to develop sports areas as the city grows.
About the Role
As a unit manager, you will lead a team of development leaders and project managers who work in the early stages of urban development processes. The focus is on overall planning, long-term facility supply, and the development of sports areas. You are responsible for planning, leading, and developing the unit's work, and you handle both financial and personnel-related issues. An important part of the assignment is to create good conditions for employees, including supporting knowledge development and networking. The role also involves producing strategic decision-making materials for the department's management.
- You report directly to the department head.
- Work environment responsibility is not delegated, but experience and knowledge in the area are significant.
- The position is an interim solution full-time, daytime Monday–Friday.
- Start date is desired as soon as possible.
Who Are You?
To be qualified for the assignment, you must meet the following:
- University or college education in urban development, community planning, etc., or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience as a manager with budget and personnel responsibility.
- Experience in leading change work and culture or value-based work.
- Experience in successfully exercising a communicative and trust-based leadership.

Other important abilities include weighing different perspectives where the whole becomes as good as possible and being able to think and act long-term. You are skilled in your way of communicating and have the ability to create trusting relationships and build networks. We also want you to be aware of your surroundings and take initiatives based on the needs you identify.
You Are Offered
Planned assignment period, from 2026-01-02 to 2026-05-30. The position is full-time, and working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.
