Uddevalla Omnibus AB with its subsidiary Lysekils Busstrafik AB is owned by Uddevalla Municipality and is one of the largest companies within Bivab. We operate for Västtrafik, Jönköpings Länstrafik and are responsible for urban traffic, regional traffic, and school traffic in Uddevalla, Mellersta Bohuslän, Vetlanda, and Sävsjö.

About the position
Uddevalla Omnibus operates traffic on behalf of regional transport companies in central and northern Bohuslän, Kalmar, and Jönköping counties. In the coming years, we face several exciting development steps – including those related to future technology and customer solutions. With long-term traffic agreements, a golden opportunity is created for you as CEO to develop the company with stable conditions for the coming decade.

As CEO, you will have overall responsibility for leading and developing the group. The role includes both strategic and operational parts, where you drive operational management, change work, financial analysis, and business as well as process development. You report to the company's board and lead the organization through six local site managers.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and develop the business towards established goals
• Ensure good financial management, planning, follow-up, and analysis
• Further develop our business processes and contribute to increased efficiency
• Be responsible for employer and work environment issues
• Represent the company internally and externally, including before the owner Uddevalla Municipality
• Lead and coordinate procurements
• Build a strong and engaged management team

• Is a confident and communicative leader who creates engagement and participation
• Has a coaching approach and spreads joy at work – even in challenging situations
• Is unpretentious, attentive, and skilled at resolving conflicts
• Has a strong interest in social issues, sustainability, and the development of public transport
  

Qualifications

• Academic education in a relevant field
• Several years of experience as a manager or leader
• Experience leading other managers
• Meritorious: experience from transport, logistics, or other labor-intensive operations
• Strong analytical skills and experience in financial follow-up
• Advantageous with experience from public operations or procurement-driven business
