We are looking for an experienced data protection specialist who wants to contribute to strengthening and developing the work with GDPR, risk management, and joint data controller responsibilities within a larger public organization. You will work closely with the responsible parties in the organization and ensure that personal data handling is done correctly, legally, and transparently.

The assignment comprises approximately 560 hours (50%) and runs from January to June 2026, with the possibility of extension. The work will be partly on-site in Gothenburg and partly remote as agreed.

Responsibilities: Conduct impact assessments according to Article 35 GDPR. Perform risk analyses related to data protection. Revise agreements concerning joint data controller responsibilities from a legal perspective. Support and represent the organization in groups working on data protection. Develop training and informational materials and hold information sessions. Contribute to the revision of processing registers according to Article 30. Document analyses according to given templates. Present results and recommendations to relevant organizations.

Consultant Requirements: - Several years of experience working with data protection. - Documented experience in impact assessments and risk analyses. - Knowledge and practical experience of data controller responsibilities, including joint data controller responsibilities. - Experience in conducting training and informational initiatives in larger organizations. - Good pedagogical ability to explain legal issues to different target groups. - Experience from municipal or public organizations.

Meritorious: - Legal background with a focus on data protection regulation.
