IT Service Desk Client Platform Specialist

Do you want to help realize our vision of making sustainable travel the norm? We are now looking for someone to strengthen our IT delivery through a new and important role within our IT Service Desk.
The IT Service Desk department has two main responsibilities, one focusing on the development and management of Västtrafik's client platform with associated services, and the other focusing on our service desk function and account management. The department is part of the IT Digital Infrastructure operation and works closely with other departments and teams.
About the Role
This position is new, and as a Client Platform Specialist, you will work with ongoing management and further development of our client environments, with a particular focus on Intune and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. You will work closely with your immediate colleagues, and the work is led by our product owner. You play an important role in both strengthening the protection of our devices and contributing to an efficient and user-friendly IT workplace.
The work includes both operational and developmental tasks. You will contribute to the development of all components of the client platform. Handling issues related to the client environment, testing new hardware and applications, as well as proactive work with improvements and monitoring in the field are also included. Documentation is a natural part of the assignment, as is collaboration with other teams within IT Digital Infrastructure. We work a lot in cross-functional collaborations, so this is something you need to enjoy doing.

- Management and further development of the client platform
- Configuration, administration, and security
- Application and hardware management
- Incident and issue management
- Documentation and knowledge sharing
Who Are You?

The department is in a development phase, which means you need to enjoy a dynamic work environment and want to contribute to the common effort as well.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary IT education and at least a couple of years of experience in the same or a similar role.
- Other relevant further education, for example, in IT security, system training such as Intune, Microsoft certifications, and similar.
You need to have:
- Documented experience in client management in Intune
- Good knowledge of working proactively with clients in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Very good knowledge of Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS environments
- Basic knowledge of PowerShell
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good ability to document and communicate technical solutions
- Experience in issue management within IT operations or IT support
- Experience in conducting thorough tests before implementation
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar frameworks
Desirable and Preferred
- Knowledge of client-related Azure functions (e.g., runbooks, logic apps, troubleshooting)
- Experience with AD/Entra ID
- Knowledge of KQL
- Experience with Apple and Android enrollment
- Experience in managing printing environments
- Linux knowledge

Conditions and Application
The position is a permanent full-time employment with placement according to agreement. Location in Gothenburg. Possibility for some remote work exists.
Placement may involve travel to our various offices in the Västra Götaland region. Depending on the assignment, the position may also be placed in a security class.
