HR Administrator for Temporary Staffing

The Temporary Staffing unit is part of the Recruitment and Staffing department within HR management. We support operations across the region with recruitment, onboarding, and placement of substitutes. We are responsible for ensuring that substitutes receive introduction and training, that they continue to develop, and that their work is followed up. We have close collaboration with the operations, both in the daily work of filling orders and in order to follow up and proactively ensure sustainable staffing planning. In addition to temporary staffing, the department also includes the unit for hired staffing and the recruitment unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an HR Administrator with us, you will play an important role in supporting daily staffing. Our mission is to support Region Gävleborg and primarily the healthcare operations by providing hourly employed substitutes such as nursing assistants, service staff, and nurses to cover short-term needs. The position includes an average of two weekend shifts over a 9-week period. On weekdays, working hours are scheduled either from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Your main responsibilities

  • staff our support for incoming inquiries both via phone and email
  • maintain close and daily contact with the operations and our employees
  • manage incoming staffing orders in Time Care Pool and match substitutes to the needs of the operations
  • administrative tasks related to substitute management.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is self-driven and flexible, with the ability to quickly adapt when circumstances change. The role requires you to work in several parallel processes, switch between different tasks, and prioritize as needed while maintaining a clear structure in your work. Furthermore, you should find it easy to collaborate with others and thrive in a role where you can provide support and service.

To succeed in this role, you should have

  • experience in customer service, preferably customer support with phone as a tool
  • experience in administrative work
  • experience working with IT tools and digital support systems.

For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience working with personnel management. A probationary period may be applied.
