The Left Party Gävleborg is now looking for one of the most important roles for the Left Party's election campaign in Gävleborg; an election representative who, together with our regular representative, election management, and district board, will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the Left Party Gävleborg's election campaign for 2026. You will closely collaborate with our regular representative as well as with the Left Party's political secretary in the region, the district board, and with our ten party associations in Gävleborg.

The position includes both strategic and practical tasks, such as identifying target groups and working with strategic and outreach efforts to reach them. For example, through planning and organizing activities for the entire county. It may also involve a significant portion of external communication, so it is important that you share the Left Party's values and it is also desirable that you have good knowledge of the party's politics from before.

In external communication, tasks may include everything from writing opinion pieces to producing materials for distribution, social media, or organizing outreach activities.

We are therefore looking for a person who is a good organizer, strategist, and communicator who is good at collaborating. To thrive in the role, you need to be self-driven, reliable, and have a strong initiative, while also being a team player who enjoys working with others. You are good at motivating other people and find it easy to talk to people. Since you will be a key person in the election campaign, you must be able to manage many processes simultaneously. You are flexible and creative.

There will also be some practical tasks such as being responsible for or assisting in the planning and execution of various events throughout the county.

Much of the work will take place in collaboration with the party associations in the entire county, which means travel and evening and weekend work, so a B driver's license is required.

Job Responsibilities

· Plan and organize activities in the Left Party's election campaign in Gävleborg, e.g., poster campaigns, door-to-door canvassing, debates, leaflet distribution, events, studies.

· Encourage party association members to participate in activities and to plan and execute activities themselves.

· Participate in some of the activities yourself.

· Develop/produce materials for distribution and for social media.

· Digital communication on the Left Party Gävleborg's social media and website, and provide support to the party associations in their digital communication.

Requirements

Employment Conditions

The employment is a special fixed-term employment (SÄVA). Start date and extent of employment will be agreed upon, but the desired start date is March 2, 2026, to September 30, with a full-time working percentage of 100 percent, which means 37.5 hours/week.

Evening and weekend work is common.

The employment has goal-oriented working hours, which means that you, as an employee, have the opportunity to arrange your working hours in dialogue with the employer based on what suits you, as long as it meets the requirements and needs of the organization.

Salary and conditions according to the Left Party's collective agreement, which is the Folk Movement Agreement signed between Fremia and the Trade Union for Employees in Commerce.
