The Speech Therapy Unit is a regional operation with around 25 employees, several of whom have specialist competence in various areas. We assess, evaluate, and treat voice, speech, language, and swallowing difficulties. Our speech therapists work in both inpatient and outpatient specialist care and are present at all hospitals and speech therapy clinics in the region. We also conduct speech therapy activities at day rehabilitation centers in six locations, as well as at the regional rehabilitation department 70 in Sandviken.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a meticulous and engaged research assistant who wants to contribute to our research efforts. The role involves supporting research projects through administrative work but may also include data collection. You will work closely with researchers but with significant responsibility for your own tasks.

Main Responsibilities

• handling and analysis of data in Excel, Jamovi, and other statistical tools
• preparation of materials for reports and publications
• administrative support in research projects such as documentation, ethics applications, and project coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is flexible and has an easy time planning and structuring their work. You enjoy collaborating with others but also take your own initiatives and responsibility when needed. You have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt well to changes.

To succeed in this role, you should:

• have good knowledge of Excel and Jamovi
• experience in research administrative work.

If you have knowledge of other analysis tools (such as SPSS, R, or similar) and experience working with research data and documentation, this is an advantage for the position.
