Information Officer at Health Square in Hudiksvall

Health Squares are located at Bollnäs Hospital, Gävle Hospital, Hudiksvall Hospital, Söderhamn's Local Hospital, and Tullhuset. At the health squares in Gävle and Hudiksvall, there are information officers who assist patients with guidance to find their way around the hospital, locate information about diseases and diagnoses, and provide simple advice. Additionally, some technical support for the digital healthcare service Min vård Gävleborg is included. Besides information officers, there are also health educators working on prevention and lifestyle changes, as well as care guides providing information about care guarantees, waiting times in healthcare, and rights and regulations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an information officer at the health square in Hudiksvall, your primary task is to welcome our visitors, answer their questions, and refer them further if necessary. The role also includes some patient support for Min vård Gävleborg. You will be answering many different types of questions, and it is important to provide that little extra to ensure the visitor has a good experience during their meeting or phone contact. The job entails significant personal responsibility, where you will primarily be located at the main entrance. We use digital solutions in our work, which is why we wish for applicants who are driven and motivated to work both in physical meetings and digitally. You are also expected to collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

You find it easy to make contact with people and maintain a professional demeanor, striving to provide the best possible service in both physical meetings and support via phone and email, and you enjoy working digitally. You are genuinely interested in collaborating and meeting new people, and you thrive in an environment where we develop and make changes to test new working methods and adapt based on our visitors' needs.

In the role of information officer, you should have:

• high school diploma
• good ability to express yourself in both Swedish and English
• experience in information or service work with direct contact with people
• good computer skills and knowledge of the Office suite.

For the position, it is advantageous if you have experience working in healthcare or in a reception/service role. Previous experience with Min vård Gävleborg and Cosmic is also a plus. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and suitability, and that you can identify with Region Gävleborg's values.
