Investigations, analyses, and customer contact

As a claims investigator, you are a state employee tasked with ensuring that the right person receives the right compensation at the right time. In your work, you assess whether a person is entitled to sickness benefits by conducting qualified investigations and analyses of documentation, primarily medical statements. You then present proposals for decisions that are made by specially appointed decision-makers. You are responsible for contacts and cooperation with others that the individual may need support from, such as healthcare and the Employment Service. You primarily have contact with individuals via phone. If applicable, you also investigate the individual's ability to participate in rehabilitative and coordinated efforts. Part of your work involves answering incoming calls where you identify needs and provide general and specific information. Your work also includes informing about and offering support in using our self-service solutions.

As a claims investigator, you handle confidential information, which places higher demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

  • has a university degree or experience and qualifications that can be deemed equivalent
  • is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations

  • can understand and analyze complex issues
  • has good communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • has good computer skills as a working tool.

  • have worked with investigations and made decisions that have affected individuals
  • have good knowledge of how to professionally meet people in different life situations
  • have experience working in teams.

Several positions, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Remote work is possible if the job allows it.
