Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion SEK each year. These are public funds that we manage, which is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we innovate and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. Decisions and payments are made digitally, and thus the IT department's mission within the Swedish Social Insurance Agency is crucial. The IT department consists of about 1400 employees and several hundred consultants across eight IT offices in Sweden. To lead the IT department, there is a CIO Office where operational and financial management, legal IT expertise, and the office for coordinated secure state IT operations are gathered.

Internal systems, efficient IT for support functions
The IT landscape for the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's internal systems is undergoing significant change. Several of the existing IT solutions need to be replaced or updated. The expected potential for savings in the overall operations is high.

To seize this opportunity, a mapping of the current situation and a plan for change needs to be developed in collaboration with the relevant departments – at least HR, Communication, Legal Department, Operational Support, Management Support, and IT. This role is responsible for getting all stakeholders to agree on the common map and plan forward. This assignment is of great importance and high complexity, which is why you, as an applicant, should have experience in similar work and a good ability to drive and unify different stakeholders.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a strong security awareness.

We are looking for someone who:

• has successful experience in HR, communication, and IT areas
• is a certified business architect
• has experience in a similar operational area from another authority
• quickly identifies problems and solves them in a relevant manner
• has good communication skills, both verbal and written
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• is confident and trustworthy, even in stressful situations.

It is advantageous if you have:

• worked with internal systems in other authorities
• good insight into structural collaborations within Swedish administration concerning HR, communication, and IT.

A position, special fixed-term employment for eleven months, 75%, with start date according to agreement. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. For this position, Swedish citizenship is required.
