Risk Expert in ICT Risks at the Financial Supervisory Authority

About the Job

As a Risk Expert in the ICT Risk Supervision unit, you will analyze and evaluate reports, incidents, and data from financial companies based on the requirements of the DORA regulation, ensuring compliance with the regulation. Additionally, you will participate in monitoring and following developments in the cybersecurity area and the risks that financial companies and the financial system as a whole are exposed to.

You will play a central role in developing FI's methods, processes, and analytical capabilities in cybersecurity and ICT risks. The work involves close collaboration with other supervisory authorities, both nationally and internationally, as well as dialogue with supervised companies and industry representatives, which requires good judgment and the ability to communicate clearly with different target groups.

To solve our complex mission, it often requires a variety of perspectives and expert knowledge. This means you will work together with and learn from leading specialists in various fields.

Your Education and Experience

We are looking for someone who:

has relevant academic education in fields such as law, economics, or IT/system science/cybersecurity
has experience working in an auditing or control function at a government agency or within the financial sector, or experience working with ICT risks and information security or cybersecurity.
has good knowledge of expressing yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have:

good knowledge of financial companies and the financial system as a whole, as well as the risks they are exposed to
knowledge of the DORA regulation or other EU regulations in ICT or cybersecurity
knowledge of ICT risks and cyber risks or equivalent risks
understanding of technical environments and architectures in financial systems, e.g., cloud services, third-party providers, continuity solutions, or incident management.
have worked with auditing ICT risks and compliance with ICT or security regulations such as DORA
experience analyzing technical reports, incident data, or risk analyses related to ICT, e.g., from a SOC or other security functions.
