Do you want to work with the operation and development of complex IT solutions in a mission-critical organization? We are now looking for a Linux Engineer for an assignment within Technology Operations, a central part of the organization’s technical operations function.

As a Linux Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring a stable, secure, and future-proof operating environment. You will be an important part of a team responsible for both defining requirements and delivering IT services with high availability and quality – whether they are delivered internally or through external parties.

In the role of Linux Engineer, you will work broadly with the operation, development, and improvement of IT solutions. You will have the opportunity to influence the technical platform and contribute to the organization’s continued delivery of reliable and secure services.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing, maintaining, and implementing IT solutions, integrations, and configurations in line with the organization’s goals
• Responsible for the daily operation of the infrastructure and ensuring that SLA requirements are met
• Managing incidents, requests, and changes
• Participating in strategic planning, requirements management, and follow-up of IT solutions
• Contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvements

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where you can combine operations, development, and problem-solving. You have a strong technical understanding, work in a structured manner, and are accustomed to taking responsibility for both quality and security in your deliveries.

We would like you to have:

• Very good knowledge of Linux system administration
• Experience with scripting languages, such as Bash
• Experience with automation tools and Infrastructure as Code, such as Ansible
• Good understanding of security work related to Linux platforms (e.g., hardening)
• Understanding of DevOps, Cloud Native, and Cloud solutions
• Experience working with server environments with high demands for availability and continuity
• Experience working according to ITIL processes
• Relevant academic degree or equivalent experience in the field
