Sigtuna Municipality is a place with great diversity. Here you can find vibrant countryside, small towns, and an international airport. A rich cultural heritage and cultural diversity. A proud history and big future plans. Perhaps that is why the drive to grow, change, and develop is so strong. It is also why it is so exciting to work here. With us, you will become part of a pleasant and unpretentious culture where we help each other and make use of each other's knowledge, differences, and experiences. The work is often varied, sometimes challenging, but always meaningful. Welcome!
Centralskolan is a municipal F-9 school with approximately 560 students and has good conditions to help all students reach their goals. We have modern newly built school facilities located a short walk from Märsta station in central Märsta. The school's atmosphere is characterized by engaged colleagues and visible school leadership.
At the school, we place great emphasis on collaboration and quality work. We base our work on a modern pedagogical view of development and learning and have clear starting points in our work with the learning environment, knowledge results, and employee participation. The school consists of a total of 20 classes divided into two classes per grade. Students have a one-to-one solution (iPads) from grades 4-9.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The job is perfect for you who are a freelancer or studying alongside. We are looking for someone to become the school's local new IT assistant/support technician. You will be responsible for solving technical problems that our employees and students may encounter. This can include everything from helping to install software, configuring and administering the school's iPads and computers, to troubleshooting when issues arise and providing practical user support and communicating case status to those involved.
The position is part-time (30%), and when there is a need, working hours can be increased periodically (e.g., before the start and end of the school year). The assignment can be extended after the summer as the need exists long-term.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has a high school diploma with a technical focus. You have experience and knowledge to provide technical support for Apple products (iPads/AirWatch) and Windows computers. It is also an advantage if you have previous work experience as an IT support technician or helpdesk technician. The role requires both technical skills and good communication abilities in Swedish, as you will need to explain technical solutions in an understandable way to, for example, teachers and students who may not be technically savvy themselves. You need to provide continuous feedback to employees about case status, etc. You are solution-focused and enjoy collaborating with others.
OTHER
You can easily apply by attaching your CV and answering a few selection questions related to this position. However, we ask you not to attach a cover letter.
As an employee of Sigtuna Municipality, you will benefit from a range of perks, including automatic membership in the Employee Club where you can participate in various activities.
