On behalf of the government, the National Property Board of Sweden manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties including government buildings, courts, castles, royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land. As employees, we are proud to work for an authority, operate based on the state value framework, and contribute to positive societal development.
The National Property Board (SFV) not only manages properties but also handles large amounts of information involving both state actors, external contractors, and internal functions.
We are now facing a major modernization of our information management and digital security. Therefore, we are implementing an IAM platform that includes Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Access Management (AM). We are looking for someone who wants a central and long-term role in the transformation - from participating in the design and implementation of the platform to being responsible for management, optimization, and further development once the solution is established. Welcome!
Your Role
As an IAM specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing our identity and access management platform. You will collaborate with colleagues both outside and within the IT department and be a central part of our security and architecture function. You will help ensure that the right person has the right access at the right time to the right system. You will work with both strategic and technical issues, from target architecture and requirements specification to implementation and management, as well as collaboration with external suppliers and other authorities.
The role is placed in the unit for classified IT environments, which has a specific and important mission within the authority. Together with other specialists, both within and outside the unit, you will work to establish, manage, and develop IT environments with high security requirements. The IAM area is a particularly prioritized area in the coming years.
Your main tasks are:
- Actively participate in the work of establishing our new IAM platform (IGA, PAM, and AM).
- Implement and configure functions such as lifecycle management, access control, role management, federation, and authentication.
- Contribute to integration work between the IAM platform and the organization's other systems.
- Be responsible for the ongoing management of the platform: incident management, troubleshooting, upgrades, and improvements.
- Participate in ensuring that the identity and access management process complies with applicable regulations and security requirements.
- Be a technical expert and advisor to the organization, IT architects, and security functions.
- Actively develop and improve the IAM area over time and ensure a high degree of reusability and sustainable architecture in the area.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a relevant academic degree or knowledge from work experience that we consider equivalent. You also have current and solid experience in:
- Working technically and process-oriented with IAM tasks
- Working with IAM tools within IGA, PAM, or AM solutions (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, Microsoft Entra, CyberArk, Okta, or similar)
- Structured lifecycle management of identities and permissions
- Integrating IGA and PAM solutions with Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, or HR systems
- Working with both on-premise and hybrid solutions
- Leading work and driving issues from the organization's needs to technical solutions
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Meritorious:
- Knowledge of standard protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and LDAP
- Good understanding of trust frameworks within identity and access management (e.g., within Sweden/EU)
- Knowledge of current and applicable product-specific certifications or CISSP, CISM
- Experience working with IAM in the public sector
Personal Qualities
We place great importance on your personal qualities. To thrive in the role, you should enjoy collaborating in teams towards common goals in an unpretentious manner. You are analytical and can see logic and connections in complex information or environments and have the ability to solve problems. You plan and organize your work independently and are used to prioritizing and meeting deadlines. You create conditions for feasibility and innovation through guidance, inspiration, and collaboration.

To apply for the position, please attach your CV and answer a number of selection questions based on the requirements profile. In the first selection, we will only consider your CV and your answers to the questions. We ask that you respond concretely and succinctly, and that there is a clear connection between your answers and your CV.
