RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of system technician, you will have an important responsibility for ensuring that our IT infrastructure and systems operate smoothly and securely. You contribute to a safe and stable operation and ensure that our IT solutions meet the needs of the business. Your work includes, among other things:

• Responsible for the operation and further development of the city's IT environment.
• Be the operations manager for various business systems and collaborate with the system owners and system administrators of the departments.
• Manage the products in the operational environment such as VMware vSphere, SQL databases, container technology, Dell Storage, Nagios, and Nexus Smart ID Digital Access.
• Actively participate in digitization projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with solid knowledge and experience in IT operations and system administration in a Windows environment, with Linux being an advantage. You have a good understanding of both open-source and commercial solutions and are accustomed to working with the operation and development of complex IT environments.

We also believe you have experience with products such as VMware vSphere, container solutions, and storage solutions. It is important for the position that you are familiar with monitoring tools such as Nagios and authentication systems like Nexus Smart ID Digital Access, as well as the ability to take responsibility for the operation of multiple business systems simultaneously. You also have knowledge and experience in automation with PowerShell or similar scripting languages and a strong interest in participating in and contributing to various digitization projects.

As a person, we believe you are curious about development and enjoy solving problems. You have the ability to work both independently and in a team, and you possess good communication skills and a sense of service.
