On behalf of the government, the National Property Board of Sweden manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a variety of state-owned properties including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, and one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land. As employees, we take pride in being part of an authority, working based on the state value framework, and contributing to positive societal development.

As part of the authority's digital development, we are currently implementing new IT systems for property management and project management while building the capability to collect and analyze data with the goal of making informed decisions and creating value for our tenants. This, in turn, places increasing demands on our integration solutions within SFV's digital landscape. Integration solutions must be secure, reusable, and manageable.

We are facing an important and exciting task where our current integration platform, BizTalk, which currently handles over 30 integrations, needs to be replaced before end-of-support in 2028. We are looking for someone who wants to take a key role, together with a few other colleagues, in this development.

We welcome you who want to lead the work of developing and implementing our future integration platform and be responsible for its management and further development in the long term.

Your role

As an integration specialist, you enjoy collaborating with both core operations and IT operations to ensure that our systems can communicate in a secure, efficient, and stable manner. You work closely with colleagues both within and outside the IT department and participate in everything from requirement specification to implementation and management.

Your main tasks are:

  • Participate in the work of evaluating, recommending, and implementing a new integration platform.
  • Develop principles and guidelines for future integration solutions.
  • Assist in the migration from BizTalk to the chosen platform.
  • Build and develop integrations in the new platform.
  • Ongoing management, suggestions for improvements, and optimization.
  • Document integration flows and system connections.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant academic degree or knowledge from work experience that we assess as equivalent.
  • Documented experience in integration development, integration architecture, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server or other established integration platforms.
  • Good knowledge of modern cloud and integration services (e.g., Azure Integration Services, API Management, Service Bus, Logic Apps).
  • Knowledge of API design, message handling, and formats such as REST/JSON, XML, SOAP, EDI, Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience in both project-oriented implementation work and management.
  • Understanding of security in integration solutions (OAuth, certificates, encryption).
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

  • Experience with larger migrations, preferably from BizTalk.
  • Certifications in integration or cloud platforms.
  • Experience from public sector work in the role of integration specialist.

Personal qualities

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you are someone who enjoys collaborating in teams towards common goals in an unpretentious manner. You are analytical and can see logic and connections in complex information or environments and have the ability to solve problems.

You plan and organize your work independently and are used to prioritizing and meeting deadlines. You are someone who creates conditions for feasibility and innovation through guidance, inspiration, and collaboration.
