We are looking for a senior IAM specialist with a focus on Active Directory, who wants to be part of a team working across the entire access area. This position in Alvik starts as a consulting assignment but is intended to transition into a permanent employment with our client.

In the role of Senior Active Directory Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a stable and secure AD environment through continuous operations, monitoring, and patching. You will work on hardening and security configuration of Active Directory, manage permissions and delegation, and contribute expertise in IAM-related issues. Additionally, troubleshooting and incident management, as well as setting up and operating certain infrastructure, are included in your responsibilities.

You will also work proactively to improve and streamline processes, documentation, and automation, where scripting in PowerShell is a natural part of the job.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a solid background within Microsoft's ecosystem, with in-depth knowledge of Azure, Microsoft Defender, and PowerShell. You have an understanding of modern DevOps principles and how cloud network infrastructures are built.

As a person, you are curious and engaged, with a strong desire to stay updated on new technologies and security solutions. You have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating in teams, while also being able to work independently and drive projects forward.

Requirements: 
•    Several years of experience in system administration in Active Directory
•    In-depth knowledge of IAM and identity management
•    Understanding of infrastructure, networks, and system administration
•    Experience in modern IT operations, preferably with GitOps thinking
•    Advanced skills in PowerShell and scripting

Experience in large-scale automation is a plus.
