We are now looking for a committed and driven IT Security Specialist for our Security Operations Center (SOC). The role of IT Security Specialist will include:

• Operation, maintenance, and development of SOC and SIEM platforms.
• Monitoring of networks, servers, and systems with a focus on security.
• Investigation and follow-up of security incidents.
• Security audits and continuity management.
• Integration and improvement of security solutions and tools (e.g., IDS/IPS, alarms, logs).
• Environmental monitoring and working on improved processes for security monitoring.
• Support and guidance to SOC's first line.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of IT and data communication.
• Good knowledge of networks, Windows, and Linux.
• Experience in incident management and follow-up.
• Experience in operation and management of integrated environments.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English at a good communicative level.

Meritorious:

• Experience with security products such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, proxy, EDR.
• Experience in threat hunting.
• Log management, intrusion detection, and traffic monitoring.
• Knowledge of query languages like regex, KQL, DSL, or DQL.
• Scripting in languages such as Python, PowerShell, or bash.
• Understanding of container platforms.
• Experience in design and development of SOC platforms.
• Knowledge in machine learning.
