Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions
We work for everyone living here today and in the future. Now we are looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.
The Hässelby-Vällingby district administration is located in western Stockholm, close to beautiful natural areas and good transport links. We are about 1700 proud and dedicated employees who provide high-quality service to the residents of the district every day. Our work environment is characterized by collaboration, courage, and participation. Our strength is that the diversity among residents is also present among our employees. Together we make a difference!
Welcome to us
The Placement Unit consists of three groups, each with its own group leader, working with children and young people placed outside their own homes.
Two of the groups work with children placed in foster homes, and each group consists of four child welfare officers and three foster care officers. In addition, there is a special foster care officer responsible for the recruitment of foster homes. The third group, the Placement Group, works with children and young people placed in other forms of care such as HVB homes and supported housing. The group consists of four placement caseworkers and one school coordinator.
Together we shape a social service that is based on what people need. To get closer to our clients and build trust, we continuously improve how we work. Do you want to help develop our operations to provide the best conditions for children and young people placed outside their homes – apply to us!
