Personal Assistant Wanted

We are currently looking for a personal assistant for 60% and scheduled shifts, as well as on-call substitutes as needed, for our wonderful girl in Bro. We are seeking someone with a strong commitment to individuals with disabilities.

Our client needs help with most daily activities such as personal care and hygiene, assistance with mobility, and support during all activities both inside and outside the home. She also has an intellectual disability, and some communication is done through tactile signs.

The client has a visual impairment, so the assistant must always be present. As an assistant, you are the client's extended arm in daily life.

The client attends school Monday to Friday, where the school meets her needs.

The working hours for this position are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 14:00 to 20:00, as well as one weekend a month, Saturday and Sunday from 07:30 to 19:30. In addition to regular working hours, there is an opportunity to work extra as needed.

We prefer female applicants for this position, and it is advantageous if you have experience in caregiving and knowledge of epilepsy. You need to be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

There are pets in the home (cat).

Your Other Responsibilities:

Tasks relevant to the profession. This can range from individualized care to household chores. Assistance is primarily provided in the client's home but also during outdoor activities. You will work in a supportive and motivating manner. Training will be provided on-site and through Monument Assistans.

A relative of the client will be involved in the selection process and will have access to the applications.
