Personal Assistant Hammarby Sjöstad

We are now looking for a personal assistant for a 34-year-old woman.

To be suitable for this assignment, we have the following requirements:

- Female aged 20-40

- Responsible, attentive, honest, and empathetic

- Good teamwork skills, as this is double assistance

- High work ethic

- Good physical condition, without issues with back, knees, shoulders

- Non-smoker

The client lives in her own apartment in Hammarby Sjöstad and has significant support needs due to multiple disabilities.

The work is varied and guided by the client's needs, which may include personal care, transfers, daily training, household chores, and other activities inside and outside the home. The work primarily involves double assistance.

We are looking for someone with a positive outlook on life, who is empathetic, attentive, and responsible, can collaborate but also work independently. You should have the ability to take initiative and adapt to the day's situation. We want you to be a non-smoker, as the work is done close to the client. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is very important for communication with the client and for documentation. You need to have a good basic fitness level as the client moves with your support. There are situations involving manual lifting.

The client uses several types of visual support in her communication as she lacks her own speech, and knowledge of AAC is a merit, but not a requirement; however, you should be willing to learn about it. Music and singing are important parts of her daily life, so you should be able to let loose and sing with her; it helps to have a childlike spirit. Other activities she enjoys include walks and visiting museums and shopping centers.

As you work with double assistance, it is important to collaborate with all members of the team, and we place great emphasis on the chemistry with the client.

Scope: Scheduled employment of 35 hours/week, including both day and evening shifts according to a rotating schedule. NO nights.
