Personal Assistant for a Young Boy in Saltsjöbaden

Your Mission

We are looking for a personal assistant for a young boy living in Älgö, Saltsjöbaden, Nacka municipality. The position starts immediately and is part-time at 50% with the possibility to work more.

Working hours are scheduled on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, as well as weekends between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

As a personal assistant, you will be the customer's extended arm and provide support in daily life, both at home and during leisure time. He is very active and enjoys sports and movement, including basketball, tennis, and walks with his dog - therefore, we are looking for someone who shares his interest in an active lifestyle.

The client has cerebral palsy and a moderate intellectual disability. You will receive an individualized introduction to all aspects of his needs and routines.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, you must:

• Have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Have good physical ability
• Be at least 18 years old
• Have good computer skills
• Have experience and interest in working as a personal assistant or in other care/support roles

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in managing challenging behaviors and working with low-arousal approaches
• Knowledge and experience with the target group within LSS
• Training in care and support or equivalent education
