I am both your client and your employer; you are my right hand.

I am a dog mom, a human mom, and a grandmother. I have two dogs of the miniature pinscher breed, my children are adults, and my grandchild is my pride and joy. Sometimes it’s full speed ahead, and sometimes it’s a quiet day. I enjoy DIY projects, from original decor to birthday crafts. It would be fun if you are a bit crafty too, but it’s absolutely not a requirement.

I live in an apartment centrally located in Handen, close to the bus for those who need it.

Job Description

You are my arms and legs; where I cannot reach, you take over. This can involve everything from helping me eat, normal household chores, to assisting me when I am at the computer, helping me at the keyboard when longer texts need to be formulated, or helping me search for new recipes for the week’s menu.

In addition to household work and some personal hygiene, the job also involves walking my dogs, either alone or with me. Therefore, you cannot be afraid of them. Having experience with dogs is a plus but not a requirement.

No heavy lifting is involved, as there is a ceiling lift.

Nothing you do for me requires any special education; however, having a thick skin and a relaxed “how hard can it be” attitude is helpful. Besides shadowing another assistant before you work independently, I will provide instructions as new tasks arise, and if questions come up, you can always turn to me.

It’s not always full throttle; quite often, we have time to sit for a while with Netflix and chips, and recommendations for good series are greatly appreciated!

Assistant

Age is not the important factor; your personal maturity and our chemistry are what counts. You need to be able to speak and understand Swedish so we can communicate with each other.

My current assistants all have unique qualities; what one is less good at, another compensates for. I like that my assistants are different individuals. If you enjoy baking, the kitchen is at your disposal. We are a few who would love to eat the treats.

Other

The position is a needs-based employment where you work a few or several days a month. I estimate that the position offers between 25-50%, hourly wage.

Working hours are varied from Monday to Sunday, including holidays, distributed between 9 AM - 5 PM and 5 PM - 11 PM.
