Collaborative Social Worker at BUP Huddinge

Do you want to be part of an organization that makes a difference for children and adolescents? BUP Huddinge is now looking for a collaborative social worker.

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP) Huddinge is an outpatient unit that provides modern child and adolescent psychiatric care at a specialist level. We are responsible for assessing and treating psychiatric problems in children and adolescents aged 0-17 living in Huddinge and Southern Botkyrka municipalities. We are a reception with two subspecialties; trauma and eating disorders. Here, you will find yourself in an environment with broad and specialized competence.

We are a staff group of about 36 employees, consisting of psychologists, social workers, specialist doctors, nurses, and administrators. At the reception, we have clear working methods and routines for how we perform our work and effective administrative support. We offer stepwise care and have had digital-physical care for several years. Our premises are located right next to Huddinge center, close to commuter trains and buses.

Job Description

We are looking for a social worker who will have a special responsibility for coordinating efforts at BUP Huddinge but also between different actors for patients with significant needs. Support for these families will occur both through consultation with therapists at the reception and by being part of the team around the patient and family. In this role, you will not be responsible for the psychiatric treatment.

The position also includes a specific SIP leadership responsibility. This means that you are responsible for developing and leading the SIP meetings that BUP Huddinge initiates. In connection with this assignment, the position will involve a responsibility to work with the management at the reception to develop other collaborations needed around our patients. This includes developing routines and establishing contacts with actors such as schools, social services, habilitation, pediatric outpatient clinics, and adult psychiatry. The position has now existed for a couple of years and has been highly appreciated by colleagues as well as by care neighbors and other partners. We also offer mentorship during the first year.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and at least three years of work experience as a social worker.

Experience working with children and adolescents as well as experience from working in psychiatry, social services, or schools is an advantage. We also prefer that you have experience leading SIP meetings or working with collaboration.

Personal Qualities

You are proactive, have the ability to think strategically, and are relationship-building. To succeed in this role, you need to have good collaboration skills, be structured, and at the same time flexible.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Employment Type

The position is permanent and full-time. Start date according to agreement.

We Offer

We also offer flexible working hours if the work allows.

Interviews may take place continuously during the application period. A probationary period may be applied.

We look forward to your application!
