Summer Substitute for Daily Operations in Nacka Municipality

Your Mission

Daily operations cater to adults with disabilities covered by LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). The goal is to provide meaningful engagement in groups based on participants' individual needs and abilities. The work is structured and pedagogical, both individually and in groups, and includes activities such as nature and environment, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, cooking, music, and physical training.

As a summer substitute, you will support participants by planning, preparing, and guiding activities based on each individual's needs. The work may involve support in social activities, during meals, and in hygiene routines, as well as the use of communication tools such as alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and digital aids.

Nacka Municipality has four daily operations. You will primarily work at one of them but are expected to be flexible and work at the others as needed. The work is scheduled during weekdays during the day.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position, it is a requirement that you:

• Have good knowledge of the Swedish language (both written and spoken)
• Have good physical ability
• Are at least 18 years old

It is an advantage if you have previous relevant experience and education in the field.

As a substitute, you are employed by the Competence Supply Unit within Nacka Municipality, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing care personnel during short-term absences and monthly substitutes. As a summer substitute, you will work at one or more of our operations depending on how much you want to work this summer. We also offer you the opportunity to work as a temporary substitute both before and after your summer substitute position.

To create continuity for our clients, you should be able to work for a longer continuous period from June to September. You are also expected to attend an introduction during the spring.
