Workplace Description

Bromma District Administration is one of Stockholm City's 11 districts.

Bromma is located near the inner city of Stockholm and by Lake Mälaren with its beautiful nature. We are situated in newly built premises in Bromma Blocks, close to good transport links and shops.

All workplaces are located on one floor, which provides advantages in terms of overview and a cohesive operation. The activity-based workplaces of Bromma District Administration are designed to encourage and facilitate creative, cross-functional, and visual work. The workplaces are adapted to the various needs of assignments and contribute to stimulating collaboration and cooperation.

Job Description

The Elderly Authority is part of the area of Authority and Prevention, together with two preventive units, and is tasked with ensuring authority exercise and ordering within the operational area based on applicable legislation. Follow-up of granted services, implementation, and costs are included as part of the processing. As a social services case officer, you will be responsible for investigating needs, assessing, deciding, and following up on services for individuals over 65 years old according to the Social Services Act (SoL). We continuously work to achieve a legally secure and equal assessment of assistance. The work requires a responsive approach to our elderly clients' needs, and you should have an interest in collaborating with other professionals.

Qualifications

You have a degree in social work. You have good knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations, as well as a strong ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. We consider previous work experience in assistance assessment within elderly care as an advantage.

You are structured, with a good ability to organize and prioritize your work effectively. Furthermore, you are flexible and decisive, adapting to changing circumstances and driving processes in a goal-oriented manner. Since the work involves contacts with many partners, you should have excellent collaboration skills and a professional attitude.
