Your Mission

As a support educator at Rudsjövägen Group Home, you will work in a multifaceted role where you contribute to creating conditions for participation and independence for individuals within LSS. With a salutogenic value base, we focus on the individual's strengths and what works. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and following up on educational methods by working closely with clients while guiding and supporting your colleagues. Additionally, tasks such as personal care, shower support, assistance during meals, transfers, and medication management are included.

The Role Includes:

• Development of educational methods, such as clear pedagogical approaches and AAC, which also includes emotion regulation and other communicative strategies
• Guidance of colleagues in documentation, implementation plans, and evidence-based practices
• Operational work in the organization to identify areas for development, test new methods, and follow up on results
• Personal care work and medication management
• Planning and execution of activities, both individually and in groups
• Close collaboration with the deputy manager and coordinators as well as other support educators to develop and improve the operations
• Contributing to structure and predictability for our clients

Nacka Municipality has 12 group and service homes divided into five clusters. As a support educator with us, you will work in a cluster consisting of two to three operations, with time allocated for both operational and administrative tasks. Work shifts are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends at our group homes, as well as days, evenings, weekends, and on-call duties at our service homes. Your Experience

To be considered for the position, you must have:

• Previous work experience in group homes, service homes, or daily activities with the LSS target group
• Documented experience in guiding colleagues in working with documentation, creating implementation plans, and following routines in a structured manner
• Experience working with methods such as clear pedagogical approaches, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), and the individual's needs at the center (IBIC)
• Education as a support educator or equivalent as assessed by the employer
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer and system skills and comfortable using digital tools in your work
• Experience handling and working with individuals who have challenging behaviors and can adapt your work based on their needs
