The Education Administration is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary school, after-school care, high school, and adult education.

At Arlandagymnasiet, approximately 1300 students study. We offer 11 high school programs, both national and specially designed, thus providing several different educational paths and individual options.

Our annual evaluations show that students and staff are very satisfied with our school. Skilled teachers and the bright and airy premises of the high school contribute to this. Not least, the good climate among students plays a significant role.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a counselor, you will be part of the school's student health team. The student health team actively works in various forums to promote, prevent, and support students' development and the school as an organization. This means that the student health service always strives to enable the best possible learning situation for the student within the team's collective competence. You will also have counselors from the other two school units as close colleagues in the same workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. Experience as a school counselor and knowledge of the journal system Prorenata and methods such as student health meetings (EHM) and Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) are meritorious.

You are a structured person who works according to clear processes, organizes and plans your work well, completes what you start, and meets deadlines. You are stable and secure, handle stress constructively, and maintain a good mood even under pressure and setbacks. You stand firm in uncertain situations, dare to speak up, and have the ability to separate issues from individuals.

We value your ability to build relationships and take initiative in social contexts, easily create new contacts, and collaborate unpretentiously with a focus on common goals.
