At Södermalm Daily Activities 2, we conduct daily activities according to LSS distributed across three addresses in Hammarbysjöstad, Danvikstull, and Skansen.

We are part of the Provider Unit at the Social Department of Södermalm's district administration. Stockholm City’s quality program and the focus on the citizens of Stockholm form the basis for all the work we do. We are now looking for a temporary support assistant for our Ekengruppen to complement our team!

We offer

Ekengruppen is a smaller daily activity with three support assistants in the staff group who provide support to our participants belonging to LSS group 1. Ekengruppen is located in the administrative building on Virkesvägen where various departments of Södermalm's district administration have offices, kitchens, and conference rooms. Ekengruppen performs tasks for the building such as preparing conference rooms, distributing fruit baskets, assisting with paper mailings, etc.

As a Support Assistant at Södermalm Daily Activities, your main assignment will be at Ekengruppen, but you may need to work at one of our other operations during absences or other occasions. We offer all employees training in "The Pedagogical Framework" and an individual competence plan. You will be offered wellness benefits and discounts at all city swimming pools. You will participate in staff meetings and APT together with colleagues from the operations.

Working hours are scheduled during weekdays.

Your role

As a support assistant at Södermalm Daily Activities, the LSS law and other legislation within social work serve as the foundation.

You will work based on the assignment description for support assistants within the unit. The assignment includes, among other things:

• Follow the district's and unit's guidelines, routines, and policies.
• Document in Parasol
• Actively participate in staff meetings, APT, and planning days.
• Be a professional health creator
• Work independently and in a team

Your competence and experience

To work as a support assistant at Södermalm Daily Activities, you need to have appropriate education as a support assistant or equivalent, such as the care program with a focus on LSS.

Knowledge of AAC, Low-Arousal Approach, Motivational Interviewing, and autism is advantageous. Knowledge and experience of social documentation are a plus. We prefer that you have previous experience working in daily activities under LSS.

The work is social and involves many contacts with both the users' networks and, for example, healthcare, authorities, and other professionals. This means that you should master the Swedish language very well in both speech and writing.

We always check references and request an extract from the police criminal record before the position is filled.
