JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a childcare worker, you will work in preschools, preschool classes, after-school care, youth clubs, and adapted primary schools, replacing regular staff during their absence. The needs of the units completely determine how much work you will receive, and we cannot guarantee you work every day. Since our operations are mostly closed during the summer, we primarily have needs during the school terms.

You should live within a reasonable distance from Järfälla to reach the workplaces in a timely manner.

We use the IT system TimePool where you enter the hours you wish to work, which are then matched against the needs of the operations. This means you must have access to the internet and a mobile phone for us to offer you work.

The operation should be fun, safe, and educational for all children. As a childcare worker, you work for a safe and secure environment that encourages children to play and learn. In collaboration with the team, you implement the educational activities. You will work with all routine situations, such as meals, children's daily hygiene, dressing/undressing, educational play, cleaning, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

We primarily seek someone with childcare education; if you also have previous experience working with children, we consider that an advantage.

You must enjoy and see it as a challenge to work in new workplaces and collaborate with new colleagues. Since the position requires you to quickly contribute to a good work effort, you must be able to work independently and have the ability to take your own initiative. The job requires good social skills and a preference for working outdoors part of the day.

As our employees work Monday to Friday on a schedule with working hours between 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM, we are looking for someone who can work during these hours. You should be able to work at least five days per month to maintain your employment.

You must have good communication skills in spoken and written Swedish.

Before any potential employment can occur, a background check will be conducted. If you are offered employment with us, it is also required by law that you present a criminal record extract for the employment to be relevant. The criminal record is referred to as "Criminal Record for Preschool Activities/School/School Childcare" and can be ordered from the Police's website. Note that the criminal record must be a maximum of 1 year old from the date of issue.
