We are looking for personal assistants for a 9-year-old girl in Tumba

Who am I?

I am a happy and cheerful girl who likes to be active at 9 years old, living with my parents and little brother in Tumba. I enjoy when things happen! Swinging, listening to music, walking, and swimming are some of my favorite activities. I use a wheelchair and need help with everything in my daily life. During the day, I am at school and after school care where you will accompany me and help me if you work day shifts.

I lack spoken language, but those who get to know me will soon understand what I like, what I want, and when I want to have fun. I communicate all the time - just in my own way. With the right person by my side, we can have a lot of fun together!

What do I need help with?

I have extensive medical needs, so it is important that you are careful, responsible, and confident in yourself. You need to be able to provide support in daily life with, for example, personal hygiene, feeding through a tube, medication, and transfers. It is also important that you have a watchful eye and a calm heart, as I need extra care and help with my breathing and epilepsy.

Right now, I do not have an assistant, so we will build a whole new team - from scratch. This means you will be involved from the start and help create something really nice together with us.

Who are you?

You are warm, engaged, and have a good sense of humor. You enjoy working with children and preferably still have your own childlike spirit. You are resourceful, lively, and confident - and not afraid to take responsibility. You need to be comfortable in helping me invite interaction and play with my little brother and others.

It is an advantage if you have experience in similar work or knowledge of medical needs, but the most important thing is your personality. A driver's license is also a plus!

Requirements: You must speak and write fluent Swedish, as communication regarding my needs is both important and detailed. It is a plus if you are willing to step in during the day when I am at school if my regular assistant is sick.

The shifts we are looking for now are evening/night a couple of days a week and weekends
