About the Job

Montessori Mondial is part of AcadeMedia's preschools/primary schools. Montessori Mondial consists of eleven primary schools, six of which have integrated preschools. The schools practice a modern and results-oriented Montessori pedagogy and optimal learning environments. Montessori Mondial is located in Kristianstad, Linköping, Lund, Malmö, Stockholm, Ystad, and in August 2024 we started Montessori Mondial in Lidingö. We are a preschool with about 60 children and a F-9 school with about 150 students. The preschool and school are located in premises that previously belonged to Vittra Lidingö. The school is just a stone's throw from Grönsta gärde and only 10 minutes by bus from Ropsten subway station.

Responsibilities:

As a childcare worker, you are an important part of the daily education and routine of the children. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to creating a positive, safe, meaningful, and developing environment for each child and the entire group. We want you to have an approach where learning and knowledge development are in focus. You will participate in the pedagogical development work and the pedagogical documentation according to the preschool's curriculum and operational goals. Our pedagogical work is based on the children's participation and influence, which you will actively work with.

We are looking for someone who:

• has completed childcare education
• has very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Since we have many families with other mother tongues than Swedish, knowledge of English is also an advantage.
• has previous experience working with children
• is attentive, flexible, and easy to collaborate with
• is engaged, responsible, and has a good sense of humor
• wants to help create a creative, harmonious, and learning environment based on the principles of Montessori pedagogy and the goals of the curriculum
• enjoys being outdoors and sees nature as part of learning
• contributes to making work enjoyable and ensuring everyone feels good. We are each other's work environment and we place great importance on staff well-being
