About the School
Our school is located in Vårberg, Skärholmen, and has approximately 200 students from preschool to grade 9. Here, we work closely together with staff, students, and guardians. Our school is small but ambitious, with a strong focus on safety, study environment, and high expectations.
About the Position
We are looking for an engaged and qualified mother tongue teacher and study counselor in Urdu for our school. The position involves teaching students with Urdu as their mother tongue, both orally and in writing, as well as supporting their bilingual development.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement teaching in Urdu according to current curricula.
- Promote students' language development and cultural identity.
- Collaborate with class teachers and guardians.
- Document and follow up on students' progress.
Qualifications:
- Very good knowledge of Urdu (native level).
- Good knowledge of Swedish in spoken and written form.
- Pedagogical education or teaching experience is an advantage.
- Good collaboration skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students and guardians.
Start Date: VT26 (January 7, 2026)
