Welcome to us

Hässelbygårdsskolan is a school in northwestern Stockholm.

We are a F-9 school located in a multicultural area, which means that the majority of students have a different native language than Swedish. The school has 400 students, and the activities include preschool class, primary school, after-school care, and adapted primary school. All students have access to digital tools in their education. The qualifications of the educators are high, and the school has a complete student health team.

Your role

We are looking for a teacher who will teach in grades 2 and 3.

You will be part of a work team and a subject team where you collaborate with colleagues and are an important part of the collegial learning to create new and deepened knowledge.

As a teacher, you are responsible for planning, teaching, documentation, assessment, and evaluation of the classes you teach.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for someone who has high expectations for students' goal fulfillment, good pedagogical insight, and is clear and engaged to bring out the best in students. You who apply:

• are a licensed primary school teacher with qualifications in the subjects of Swedish/SVA, math, science, and social studies.
• have documented experience in the teaching profession
• have experience working in a multicultural area
• have experience with digital methods as a reinforcement in teaching.

You have a good ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs and structure and adapt your teaching to create a safe and adequate learning environment. You involve the student in planning and develop the student's ability to learn, both independently and together with others.

You are secure, stable, have the ability to create good relationships with your students, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You create good conditions for collaboration with parents and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role effectively.
