Vasastans Montessori School offers both preschool and school education. We have approximately 235 children in our entire operation and have been a well-established Montessori preschool and school for nearly 40 years. You will be part of a team of about 20 educators at the school. At Hälsingegatan, we have grades F-6, and at Sveavägen, we have grades 7-9. We are constantly working to develop our school but see Montessori pedagogy as the core of our operations. Therefore, we place great importance on both the environment and our approach. You need to have experience working with grades 4-6 and be certified for these age groups. You should also have experience in Montessori activities, and we would prefer that you have Montessori training or are willing to train in this pedagogy. Of course, you enjoy collaborating with both colleagues and parents. You are proactive and interested in developing the operations, as we constantly see opportunities to improve and enhance the wonderful school we have. You will teach Mathematics, Science, and Technology in grades 4-6 with about 12 students in each class, totaling 34 wonderful students. You will also collaborate with another teacher and two support staff. You will be responsible for mentoring conversations and development discussions. You will be part of a team consisting of teachers from grades F-9. At Hälsingegatan, we also have several preschool departments. The position is a permanent position at 80% starting January 2026, with the possibility of an extension to 100% from autumn 2026. There is a 6-month probationary period.
