Folkuniversitetet is engaged in popular education and adult education throughout Sweden. Our idea is to provide people with the conditions for a richer life through knowledge and creativity. Knowledge changes. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
• Pedagogical understanding or teaching experience.
• Subject matter expertise/work experience in the field.
• Experience and an active interest in adult education.
Our courses in Ceramics cover throwing, coiling, rolling, pinching, and sculpting. Participants will gain knowledge on how to work with clay and various decoration techniques as well as how to glaze.
The teaching consists mainly of practical work under the guidance of the course leader. Some presentations are shared.
Folkuniversitetet in Södertälje offers open course activities in various subjects, including ceramics. We would like to hear from you if you can work with us in a study circle format with adults, 1-2 times a week, in the evenings, starting in January 2026.
