Your mission

In the role of preschool teacher, you will lead the educational work together with two childcare workers and create an environment that is safe, fun, and educational for each child. Children's participation and influence are an obvious part of everyday life, and you work to offer both care and stimulation that promotes their development and learning.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate the operations based on the preschool curriculum and set goals. You will work project-oriented and document children's learning processes in a common template for systematic quality work through reflection and analysis. You will actively participate in pedagogical documentation and development work, where we currently have a special focus on SKA work and our pedagogical learning environments.

Your responsibilities also include onboarding, participating in project work, attending parent meetings, conducting pedagogical conversations, maintaining daily contact with guardians, and opening and closing the preschool. You need to be able to work with children of all ages and contribute your skills and creativity to a team that values engagement and quality.

To succeed in the role of preschool teacher, you are a confident and professional person with a good ability to collaborate, communicate, and build trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and guardians. You are clear in your communication and have a pedagogical approach that creates safety and structure. You are self-driven, take initiative, and are responsible for your tasks. You lead educational activities, contribute ideas, and find solutions in everyday life. As a person, you are structured and plan, organize, and maintain order in teaching and documentation with clear routines that benefit both children and colleagues. Furthermore, you have a strong focus on quality and work based on the curriculum to create a meaningful, safe, and inclusive environment where every child has the best possible conditions for development.

Your experience

For this position, you are required to have:

• preschool teacher certification
• experience working as a preschool teacher
• experience and good knowledge of pedagogical documentation
• good digital competence
• good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing

It is an advantage if you also have:

• experience in actively driving the preschool's development and quality work forward
• pedagogical competence in learning environments
• knowledge of and experience with NPF diagnoses
