RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool assistant, you will work with the team to lay the foundation for lifelong learning that is fun, safe, and educational for all children. Your tasks include pedagogical documentation, planning, leading, implementing, evaluating, and developing teaching. For this, you need to be well-versed in the preschool's governing documents.

You will work with the team to plan and implement education in a way that promotes children's development, health, and well-being. Your mission involves meeting all children with respect for their individuality and providing each child with the conditions to develop trust and self-confidence. Everyone working in preschool should show respect for the individual and contribute to creating a democratic climate. You will collaborate with families and build trusting relationships with both parents and colleagues.

In Järfälla, we have developed a strategy for increased quality in Järfälla's preschools. It is divided into four strategic areas:

• Competence in all levels of preschool (one of the sub-goals is at least one preschool teacher per 15 children)
• Organizing preschool to ensure conditions that promote learning and safety

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is adaptable to changing circumstances and can quickly change their perspective and approach
• Takes initiative and finds it easy to start activities
• Is outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. Contacts children and guardians and can build and maintain a trusting relationship
• Understands how background, culture, and group affiliation affect oneself and others. Aware of how their own values influence and guide their actions and reactions
• Shows understanding of the different conditions for women and men/girls and boys in society
• Treats everyone equally and acts to promote equal treatment regarding resources, opportunities, and accessibility
• Remains calm and controlled in stressful situations. Maintains a realistic perspective on situations and focuses on the right things

Requirements:

• Qualified preschool assistant

Meritorious:

• Experience in pedagogical work in preschool
• Training in Före Bornholm
• Training in TAKK

The position requires good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
