Workplace Description

We are looking for a student assistant to work alongside the communications officer at Campus Helsingborg.

The position is located in the development unit at Campus Helsingborg, with 6 employees.

Job Responsibilities

As a student assistant, your tasks may vary, but they should always have a clear connection to your studies. You will support the communications officer at Campus Helsingborg with various tasks related to communication and marketing.

As a student assistant, you will also participate in various activities.

The tasks in this position include:

  • Working with content for printed magazines and digital channels: conducting interviews/writing articles/taking photos/filming
  • Participating in fairs, study visits, and informing about studying at Campus Helsingborg
  • Supporting the communications officer with ongoing communication work.

Qualifications

To be eligible for employment as a student assistant, you must be enrolled in full-time studies at the university level in Sweden, have completed approved studies equivalent to at least 60 higher education credits, and not have started a doctoral program.

Requirements for the position are that you:

  • Are currently enrolled in full-time studies within the programs at Campus Helsingborg or equivalent education deemed relevant by the employer
  • Have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Are an experienced writer who can write texts and articles on various topics
  • Have the ability to work independently and possess good teamwork skills.

Desirable qualifications for the position include:

  • Experience in photography/creating short films and basic editing
  • Enjoy meeting and speaking in front of others
  • Are creative, curious, meticulous, attentive, and service-oriented

Other Information

The employment is temporary from January 12 to May 31, 2026, and involves a workload of 25%. The employment starts by agreement.

You will work according to a fixed schedule that will be established in agreement between you and the employer.

Regulations regarding employment as a student assistant can be found in the Agreement for Student Assistants.

Campus Helsingborg is part of Lund University with a special focus on collaboration, vocational programs, and multidisciplinary studies. Today, there are nearly 4,000 students and 150 employees on site. The operations are in constant development. The development unit is a staff function tasked with leading, supporting, and developing operations in collaboration with the university management and faculties. The unit is led by the rector at Campus Helsingborg and also consists of an administrative manager, a collaboration coordinator, a communications officer, and an administrator/local booker.
