Are you driven by creating structure, developing organizations, and working closely with managers in an environment where your skills truly make a difference? As an HR Business Partner at Mantena in Hässleholm, you will play a key role in a socially important organization with a fast pace, strong values, and a clear focus on sustainability. Here, you will combine strategic work with operational tasks within labor law, leadership support, and organizational development. You will be part of an engaged Nordic HR team where you will have freedom under responsibility and the opportunity to influence how HR work develops in Sweden and the group. An exciting opportunity for you who want to combine operational responsibility with strategic thinking in a broad and meaningful HR role.
Your Employment Offer
- At Mantena, you will have the opportunity to combine operational HR work with strategic issues in an industry that has great significance for society's sustainability.
- You will become a key person in the Swedish organization and collaborate with an engaged HR team located at the company's headquarters in Norway.
- Here, you are offered an important role where you can use your full HR competence in an exciting and changing environment.
- You will work independently and receive support from experienced HR colleagues in an environment characterized by engagement, drive, and care.
Your Responsibilities
As an HR Business Partner at Mantena, you will work with the full range of HR issues, both operationally and strategically. This means that you will:
- Be responsible for labor law, rehabilitation, and union cooperation.
- Drive MBL processes and other union dialogues.

- Conduct recruitments and support managers in selection processes.
- Follow up and ensure the quality of salary and time reports.
- Be responsible for onboarding, training planning, and contacts with vocational colleges.
Worth Knowing
Your workplace is Mantena's maintenance depot in Hässleholm, where you will work closely with the organization's 150 employees, consisting of both salaried and hourly workers. You will be part of the Nordic HR team and report to the Group Director of HR & KHMS based in Norway and the CEO of the Swedish organization. You will play a key role in Mantena Sweden's management alongside seven other key individuals. Some opportunity for remote work is available by agreement and considering the business, but most of the work will take place on-site in Hässleholm.
Mantena is affiliated with the Traffic Agreement for rail traffic and has a good collaboration with trade union partners such as SEKO, ST, and Sweden's Engineers. You will have an important role in union cooperation.
Our Expectations
We are looking for someone with solid experience in broad HR work, with a particular emphasis on labor law and union relations. You have previously worked closely with the business and leaders, preferably in a production environment or within the industry. You are confident in handling union cooperation, rehabilitation cases, and workplace safety issues. You know how to create structure, progress, and compliance in HR processes.
We see that you enjoy working independently, but at the same time have a good ability to collaborate in a Nordic team. You are a confident person who combines a coaching approach with the ability to set demands and drive change. Building trust, creating structure, and helping managers grow in their leadership is something that motivates you.
You communicate well in Swedish and English, and it is a plus if you understand Norwegian. The role includes HR responsibility for the operations in Hässleholm with powers equivalent to an HR manager, but in a role where the title is HR Business Partner.
