What does the role entail? 

As a Data Engineer at Predictly, you play a key role in building modern data platforms in Google Cloud – from the initial architecture sketch to final delivery. You work closely with clients and often take overall responsibility for the platform's technical setup, including IAM, data collection, structuring, and refining data for various needs. 

You develop and maintain robust data pipelines using tools like Airflow, and BigQuery becomes a central component of your daily work. The role is broad and combines technology, architecture, and problem-solving in a dynamic environment where you are continuously challenged and developed. Predictly primarily collaborates with medium-sized clients, where teams often take responsibility for the entire solution, giving you a great opportunity to influence and create real value. 

Who are you? 

To succeed in this role, we believe you have: 

• A relevant post-secondary education 

• At least 2–3 years of experience with cloud platforms, particularly in data engineering 

• Knowledge of Data Warehousing and cloud-based data platforms 

• Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines 

• The ability to work broadly across the technology stack, from architecture to implementation 

• Good skills in both Swedish and English 

• EU citizenship 

We believe you feel comfortable in the developer role and are just as natural in front of a computer as in a modern office landscape. You are happy to take responsibility for the whole at the client and thrive in cross-functional teams where you quickly adapt to new technical challenges. 

It is a plus if you have: 

• An understanding of, or experience with, DBT (Data Build Tool) 

• Worked through various phases of development projects, from requirements to management 

• Experience with agile working methods
