The position is located in the Department of Children and Education. We conduct statutory activities in the form of preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, and student health. Within the department's area of responsibility, there is also a culture school, youth center activities, open preschool, and the municipality's food unit. The department operates on behalf of the Children and Education Committee.

We are looking for a substitute for the Open Preschool who can start at short notice.

We are looking for someone with experience working with children, preferably a trained childcare worker, who can substitute at the Open Preschool at short notice. We are looking for someone who can start immediately, but we are also looking for someone who can be available later for shorter shifts. Please clearly state in your application when you can start and if you are available later on.

At the Open Preschool, parents are welcome to bring their children to play, socialize, and get to know others. We offer a pedagogical play environment and activities for children aged 0-6 years. The Open Preschool is part of the Family Center. It is open to everyone and the activities are free of charge.

Open Preschool's opening hours: We are open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 09:00 to 11:30. At 10:00 we sing and after that, we have coffee together.

You will work together with our experienced educator, and together you will create a good environment and a quality operation. It is advantageous if you know TAKK.

The employment concerns substitutions when current staff are absent. The Open Preschool is scheduled for mornings and the working hours are 8:30-11:30. Start date may be relevant as soon as the employment is finalized.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and clean up.
• Serve coffee.
• Talk to guardians and offer stimulating activities for the children.
• Participate/conduct singing sessions and gatherings.

We are looking for someone with experience working with children, preferably from preschool.
