International English School (IES) is hiring teachers

International English School (IES) is a leading independent school group with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is conducted in both Swedish and English, with English being the language of the corridors. IES is one of Sweden's largest school groups at the primary level with 43 schools and around 30,000 students across the country. IES has steadily grown and maintained quality since 1993.

IES Eskilstuna is one of the largest schools in Sweden with 1,185 students enrolled in grades F-9 and approximately 125 staff members.

We are looking for you, with a Swedish teaching license, who enjoys working with younger children in a developing and international environment. You have a strong drive and initiative, and it is important that you are outgoing and have good assessment skills.

The core values are very important to you and permeate your work in the classroom.

You should be positive and collaborative and ready to join an international team. Your own teaching as a teacher will be in Swedish, but among colleagues, we speak English/Swedish. This means you should be fluent in both languages, both spoken and written.

Qualifications

You have a degree from a teacher training program and a teaching license or equivalent education. We place great emphasis on personal suitability based on our needs and conditions.

Personal qualifications

You are outgoing, social, and have an easy time getting along with your colleagues. You are also good at prioritizing effectively, feel comfortable working independently, and are not afraid to ask for help when needed. You are also thorough and structured in your work.

You are an experienced IT user and quickly adapt to new data systems. The position is a temporary one starting at the beginning of the spring term 2025.
