The division is divided into four operations. The Business Unit supports and develops the local business community by creating conditions for growth. Culture and Libraries, including the City Library, Cultural School, art activities, and Children's Culture Center, provide residents with experiences that enrich leisure and create conditions for democracy. Nyköping Tourism develops the tourism industry and promotes Nyköping to visitors and residents as an attractive destination. Nyköping Arenas coordinates and conducts cultural and sports events, concerts, and festivals. They also manage arenas, venues, and youth centers and collaborate with associations and organizers at local, national, and international levels.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Nyköping Municipality is seeking active, engaged, and responsible teachers who want to make a difference in students' lifelong learning. Ideally, you are a qualified dance teacher with street dance skills who loves to explore dance with children and youth aged 3-19 years. You enjoy challenging yourself and find it exciting to discover different perspectives and creative solutions to turn varying conditions into inspiration and stimulation.

For all ages, you should be open to students' thoughts and wishes and see them as a resource. You need to have a strong desire and a special ability to meet different age groups, engaging young children through joyful play to develop their interest in dance and movement, and older students through various dance styles, as well as producing and participating in different performances.

Teaching takes place on Thursdays.

QUALIFICATIONS

You preferably have a university degree in dance or equivalent, and it is advantageous if you have experience in street dance and teaching younger children. It is also beneficial if you have led development or your own projects and can demonstrate good results from them.

You are communicative and humble with a clear pedagogical insight and the ability to translate students' wishes into your work. A positive view of people and the ability to build good relationships with both children and adults is essential for you. The teaching includes dance for ages 3-19 years. You are comfortable with the various digital platforms used in modern society.
