Munktellskolan is a secondary school that will have approximately 520 students by the autumn term of 2025 when we expand with six new classes. In August 2023, we moved into our new premises and changed our name from what was previously called Faktoriet. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for two craft teachers - one who teaches textile craft and one who teaches wood and metal craft. In both positions, you can also teach another subject or work in student support. The craft subject constitutes 50% of your full-time position. You plan, implement, and evaluate your teaching based on Lgr22. We start from the students' own interests, needs, and development, so you need to engage the students in the teaching but also meet their various needs in the classroom. You have shared mentorship, conduct development talks, and have close dialogue with guardians. Our goal is to develop students' knowledge, skills, and self-confidence in an environment where everyone feels safe. Therefore, as a newcomer with us, you will have a mentor who is there to support you during your initial time at the workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification with authorization to teach crafts for grades 7-9. You need to have teaching experience; if you have taught at the secondary level, it is an advantage. We are a school at the forefront of using digital tools and teaching resources, so you need to have good IT skills and be able to use IT tools as part of your teaching.
