Do you want a fun and meaningful job? A job where you work with people who may not always think like everyone else but can enrich your day and where you have a chance to make a difference in someone’s everyday life.

Our work is guided by our values of respect, commitment, responsibility, and housing focus. Our vision is to create quality of life based on each individual's needs. Our operations are located in the picturesque Dänningelanda, about 10 km south of Växjö. In Dänningelanda, we have several operations, but we are now looking for you who want to work at Jansgård, which is a group home with 6 places.

We are looking for two committed support staff where we offer accommodation for adults with disabilities according to categories 1 and 2 under LSS. We want you to work based on a low-arousal approach, be open to changes occurring in the operations, and be able to work together with your colleagues based on the routines and structures that prevail in the workplace.

Employment

We offer a wellness allowance of 2500 SEK/year. Start date in January 2026 or by agreement. Employment rate 80-100%. We apply a probationary period of 6 months and individual salary setting. We have a collective agreement with Kommunal.

Your mission:

You are responsible for providing individually tailored support to the residents in all aspects of daily life to strengthen the resident's own abilities together with your colleagues. You will assist the residents in daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and hygiene. You always start from each resident's individual needs and the right to self-determination. A large part of the work consists of contributing to the resident's independence and well-being based on each resident's conditions. You should be active and enjoy planning and taking initiatives with the residents, as well as adapting your communication so that the residents at Skåningegård feel understood and respected.

The work involves administrative tasks such as social documentation, creating implementation plans, etc., which requires good computer skills. You should have a professional yet close, motivating, and trust-building approach towards the residents you are responsible for. Our services involve work during the day, evening, and weekends (separate night shifts). You will work according to a rotating schedule.

Qualifications:

You should be a trained nursing assistant or have another equivalent education with a pedagogical focus. You should have good computer skills and experience in documentation. As a person, you are responsible, secure, engaged, and have a positive attitude. You must have a B driver's license. You should master Swedish in both speech and writing.
